Our students have been taught how to use Thinking Maps as they read informational texts and solve complex problems. As we create these maps and charts, we need an easel to place chart paper on so that we can collaborate with students and create our anchor charts in an interactive setting. While we love utilizing technology in the classroom, we also value the visual aids that we create with students on chart paper that can be hung around the classroom. This visual aid helps us to create a well balanced classroom.
