I teach 6th grade in Inglewood, CA. My wonderful students are engaged, excited to learn, and very inquisitive. They have home lives where clean clothes, breakfast, and a safe neighborhood are not guaranteed. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. My school preaches and believes that all students can and will go to college despite their socio-economic circumstances. I fully believe this too. I am the Science/Technology teacher. We learn how to use MS Office Suite, web design, and keyboarding skills. I want my students to learn how to video edit and we need iPads for video editing. It is a tool which will help them shoot video, edit it, and display it for their classmates.
