Welcome to Ms. Prairie's Donors Choose page! As a K-6 Art Educator I strive to create units of instruction that enhance our student's creative, critical, and reflective thinking skills. Students will also develop their ability to communicate their thoughts and ideas visually, verbally, and through the use of writing. We focus on using a variety of materials while learning about new processes to create art. Literature and art history art is incorporated within each lesson. Please help us explore new materials as well as art from different cultures, time periods, and art movements by funding our projects! Our school recently became a 1:1 technology school and I strive to incorporate digital literacy within many lessons as well.
