As the Librarian for our campus I enjoy promoting various reading programs and reading incentives. One of the programs we use is Accelerated Reader (A.R. Program). Students who reach their reading goals are rewarded each six weeks with a celebration. As you can imagine funding these celebrations can be costly. We are in need of donations to be used as incentive prizes. Our parties in the past have been treasure box pull, lunch with the Librarian, snack sacks, and various others. My goal is to create fun and exciting incentives to reward students with at the end of each six weeks. I'd like to create a treasure box, bounce house fun, as well as sponsored opportunities to serve students with a food party such as pizza, ice cream, cupcakes, snack bags, etc. By donating to our project, you will not only help to motivate and encourage students to read, but also help to increase their academic achievement.
