My students are all part of a multicultural public school in New York City. They come from all five boroughs, gathering under a singular idea-that someday they want to attend a 4-year college focusing on the Sciences. At our school, the Visual Arts class I teach is always bridging gaps in the different subjects, and students have come to have much higher standards for their art making since I started teaching there 3 years ago. My students have transformed from being apprehensive of drawing with a pencil and paper, to undertaking large scale sculpture projects that are oftentimes larger than they are. These students are at a pinnacle of their creative learning, and by donating to our cause, you would be directly helping them realize their full potential.
