One way that we build our classroom family and to encourage kiddos to be brave and try new things is through our love of reading! We read books everyday about many different topics! With these books, we would be able to read new books to our kiddos every day about important topics of emotions, leadership, character traits, differences and some of their favorite interests! We love to read about inclusivity, differences, challenges, emotions and of course the interests of our students each year! Many of these books will help our students not only with reading comprehension, but also with emotional regulation, leadership skills and character development. These books will not only help the students in my class, but also the students in the other Kindergarten classroom for years to come. This is not just a one time donation, but a gift that will keep on giving for many kids and classes for years to come!
