These books will build a library my students can become engrossed in. Most of my students hate reading but I firmly believe this is because they haven’t had the opportunity to truly explore all the rich and imaginative options which are available to them. I want to have a robust in class library which is easily accessible to each of my students. I have chosen a variety of interests, topics and reading levels so that every child can choose a book which suits him or her as well as explore new genres. Having the in class library will allow students more independent reading time, more choices and more chances to think critically about what they are reading.
