LEGO Mindstorm programmable robots will help my advanced astronomy students use real-world applications to design, program, and control robots to complete a mission. So far, their experiences have been limited to reading, writing, and viewing videos. They want to learn more! What better way to help them than by putting the tools in their hands and letting them simulate NASA teams who can design and control rovers on another planet? LEGO Mindstorm programmable robots can do just that. Please help my students get the STEM tools they need to advance their experience in Martian exploration, rover design, and control! With LEGO Mindstorm, I will be able to integrate STEM applications into my science classrooms, year-after-year.
