Five year olds have a thirst to learn new things, they are always asking questions what, why, and where. Our classroom is a island of discovery through hands-on experiences. The first two sciences we explore is earth and life science in kindergarten. To further our exploration in science my students need five microscope kits and prepared slides for small group rotations within the classroom. These microscopes will give my students the inside view of the world around them and help them to understand the structures of life science. When kindergarten students observe the world around them they feel connected to what they are learning and it creates a foundation for the cornerstone of their learning.
