I value hands-on, authentic, active learning for children and believe school should be fun. Daily, I strive to create a positive learning environment where students are eager participants and enthusiastically return to school for more learning. Additionally, more research is needed to explore the motivational and educational benefits of 21st-century learning. How can educators engage students to develop deeper learning competencies required for success in college, career, and civic life? I look forward to delving deeper into these problems, examining and conducting current research. Giving students current tools, motivation to become life-long learners and global stewards may be a key piece to the education puzzle.
