My students are mostly English Language learners and are eager to learn! Our school is public and is located in Southern California. Most students experience listening centers in Kindergarten, but once they move on to upper grades they also move on to regular books. Who doesn't enjoy story time or listening to a story, just for they joy of listening? Listening centers are an essential tool to support early literacy, independence, responsibility and most importantly successful readers.
