Teaching at a school in its second year, we don't have a lot of the funding for the materials that we want to have for our scholars who we feel deserve the best of everything. Our scholars are bright and talented, but while the school provides many things for these scholars, like textbooks, paper, and pencils, other materials to help them remain focused and provide independent practice are not provided and are often too expensive for parents to provide. Often materials to help them learn specific skills are also lacking. With the right help and instruction, these scholars can succeed well beyond their potential.
