Our classroom needs more basic schools supplies to use through out the year. I would love to have a class set of white boards for the students. These can be used in many different aspects of the classrooms. Being an ELA teacher, we can use these boards to brainstorm ideas and put them together as a class. With the white boards, I would love some expo markers to go along with them for student use. Dry erase boards are a great way to keep students engaged during the school day. I would also love more materials that the students can use once we guided reading and literacy stations. It would be great for students to be able to highlight text evidence, which is a HUGE chunk of our learning. There are also more basic school supplies that I would love to have in the classroom, such as pencils and paper, that would be a great help. This year in Social Studies we decided we were going to have our students use interactive notebooks. For these basic art supplies are needed. The classroom needs some more crayons/colored pencils, glue, and scissors. If I have these supplies handy for the students who need them, it makes our day run a lot smoother. Thank you all for your support! Ms. Shaw's class appreciates all of your help and we can't to get our adventure of 3rd grade going!
