Since becoming the new music teacher at Tyner Middle Academy I have sought to challenge my students to perform, create, and analyze music covering a broad spectrum of genres, styles and time periods. Sadly, I may have also inadvertently stifled their musical growth by not having pianos that were functional or in tune within the classroom. The piano that I am requesting will serve multiple functions within the classroom. Not only will it serve to accompany solo and group performances (with sounds that are of a high quality), but it will also facilitate student-led songwriting, music production/arranging, and performance-based projects both inside and outside of the classroom. I can only IMAGINE the difference this keyboard will make! Thank you for your support!
