In our music classroom we emphasize group playing, steady beat, and being independent learners. Orff instruments are a way to encompass all parts of our mission. Students are always eager to play and learn new songs with our orff instruments! My special needs students are always especially excited to play along! When playing orff instruments students get to experience performance, singing, and ensemble play. The addition of orff stands in our classroom will allow for a flexible classroom environment and setup. It will also allow older students to more comfortable play orff instruments in pairs, allowing for more students to experience orff at one time! My special needs students would also strongly benefit from these stands as it would allow students in wheelchairs an easier way to play along!
