As kindergarteners learn more about letters and sounds, it's important for them to get excited about what they are learning and reading. I want my students to know that learning to read is possible. More importantly, I want my students to be able to read for fun. A colorful environment will attract them, and reading pillows will help them feel comfortable and cozy with a good book. Flashlights will help them get excited as they light up the words as they track and read. "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go" - Dr. Seuss

About my class
