I have the world's most amazing job solely because of the students I get to teach each day! FDHS is unique for a variety of reasons, but the diversity among our student population sets us apart. My students come from all different backgrounds, yet they manage to build a trusting and family-like relationship in my science classroom. My teaching style thrives on critical thinking strategies that challenge students to explain the world around them. This involves a great deal of relationship building and collaboration among the students and myself. It's my goal to bring an innovative and hands-on learning experience for my students each day by guiding them through the beautiful world of science using inquiry exploration! Improving the classroom environment and materials will help us to reach that goal!
