Children would never think that learning would be so easy as playing in water and sand. This give more independent play that is helping children improve their coordination skills, use the gross motor skills, and cognitive skills, and learn some fundamentals of math. My students in my pre-k classroom just love to play in the sand/water table while the are testing out some of their artistic expression. It would be nice to our own very own inside our classroom. The material will be used on a daily bases in small groups, free choice centers, science lesson, and in a independently.
