Having tables as workspace options helps promote collaboration and provides an environment that encourages social interactions between students. The dry erase tabletops can also provide an alternative. more fun and engaging way for students to work through problems and share their thinking. Standing desks, wobble boards, and laptop stands, which can be used for students working on the floor or at their desks, allow students to work within a space which better meets their needs. One way in which I can better support the social, emotional, and academic needs of my students is by creating a physical environment that is comforting, conducive to collaboration and movement, and provides a variety of workspace options that better matches the variety of needs among my learners and allows them to more easily work together!
