My students will benefit from having whiteboards in the class so that they are able to become engaged in our daily lessons across curricular areas. Student engagement is crucial in order for students to become successful in class, through the use of whiteboards; students will take ownership of their own learning. We need whiteboards,pencils, glue sticks and scissors to ensure that lessons and activities in the classroom are interactive. Some students fear public speaking and participating in discussions, especially my English Language Learners. Whiteboards will help my English Language Learners and struggling students show what they know without feeling embarrassed to make a mistake and develop their academic confidence.
