Seat sacks are over the chair pouches that can store several classroom materials and items. These sacks are durable and reusable. Seat sack storage is optimal for my class, because my students will have tables instead of desks. Tables are wonderful for group collaboration and socialization, but they lack storage. It is so helpful for kindergarteners especially, to have supplies and classwork close by. Having the seat sack storage allows for students to stay on task while retrieving their materials. When students must get out of their seat and leave their work space to get supplies, they can become easily distracted and it breaks up the flow of their work time. Having seat sacks for each of my students will create a more productive classroom environment and eliminate distractions. Students will be able to easily access their materials without having to leave their seats. Donating to this project will have a lasting impact on my class this year, and for my kindergarten classes in the future.
