These double-sided counting boards will be helpful to help students represent cardinality and solve equations with a hands-on approach. My students LOVE working with ten-frames and counters because they provide easy visual boundaries and representations of the math problems they are solving. Math at home is challenging, but I know this will make it easier! The counters can be repurposed to play games such as "How Many to Make 10?" or "How Many Am I Hiding." This one math tool will help my students stay engaged in a virtual world, and can be easily adapted as content becomes more complex. Using these will also help me gather assessment data to inform my instruction. When teaching remotely, I will be able to assess each student with a glance throughout the screens.
