Kindergarten kids are growing in so many ways each day. They learn to work together by playing with classroom toys during interest centers. They love exploring the cars, dollhouse, kitchen, Legos and many other items that we already have. Our toys are used daily and get worn out quickly. This year I wanted to have a garage the children could explore and some items to enhance our housekeeping center. Always a favorite! During instructional centers the children are expected to get the materials that they will be using for their station. We have their items organized by subject . Currently, students need a lot of assistance getting the items from the shelves. The new shelves will allow them to grab and go, cutting down on transition times. Teaching through play is a vital part of our daily kindergarten experience. We have so much fun exploring and learning how to stay organized.
