This project with help provide my students with a wide variety of flexible seating options. Doing this at such an early age, allows students to find their voice and determine what seating allows them to be the best learner they can be. Student voice is encouraged in classrooms with flexible seating and will be in my classroom. Having many different choices will allow students to feel empowered. When students are allowed to choose whether they sit, stand, kneel, use a ball chair, a wobble seat, or even lie on the floor they take ownership of their classroom and their learning.
