We love our classroom, but it lacks in cleanliness at times. The entire floor is carpeted. Years of students have left the carpet stained, dirty, and worn-out. This is especially true for the highly-used areas of the room. The front of our classroom is used at least 4 times a day for Morning Meeting, mini-lessons, and sharing. Students spend anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes on the carpet every time they're at it. By providing carpet squares, students will not only have a clean space to sit, but it will also help students stay focused by providing a specific place to sit.

About my class
