We are beginning a new chapter in education this year with the introduction of virtual learning, in conjunction with in school classrooms. The goal of our Pre-K program this year is to make this transition as user friendly as possible for families. We have already begun making plans for the initial testing for our digital portfolios. By incorporating the Insta360 One R twin edition camera, I will have the ability to film better quality footage of children and have the capability to edit the film to provide documentation. Children love being on camera and often get distracted by the laptop and webcam. But this device, I will able to record the students without drawing attention to the camera due to the voice commands and hands free options. I believe that this technology will make it easier for me to video my students both individually and in small groups to show growth and development through out the year. This camera will also allow me to video lessons to post on TEAMS for my virtual learners. Parents will be able to view these online lessons with their child and continue the work I am doing at school in their home. I will provide students they next best thing to actually being in the classroom even when they have to remain at home through video teaching.
