After 20 years working for corporations, I returned to the classroom with Camden City Public High School students. These students have been remote since March, 2020. The use of whiteboards in the classroom will enhance and improve participation. Thus contributing to successfully learning Algebra 2. By donating to our project you will not only improve and increase student attention, and willingness to learn, you will ultimately help make their futures brighter. These two sided white boards will offer a graphing side with the Cartesian coordinate plane (X & Y axes). This side will allow me to see quickly who gets it, what concepts need more review. We will be graphing systems of functions and therefore, the students need at least two colored dry erase markers. Having the blank side will allow for regular mathematical computational problems. Whiteboards allow for full class participation. Students must be challenged and taken from wherever their knowledge is, and push them higher. I know the students will appreciate being back in the classroom fully engaged. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards are being used for All Things Algebra - Algebra 2 activity curriculum which I have mapped to the NJ Core Competency Standards. The activity bundle will allow for an engaging learning experience chock full of real world group work. Thank you!
