My students are simply incredible. Our very small town is considered economically challenged and has many different cultures represented in it ranging from African American to Laotian. We have almost 3,000 people living here with a little over 800 students enrolled in our district. Our school's theme this year is BE GREAT. It originated with our Athletic program, but has spread throughout the community. Attitudes, actions, and even the wardrobe of students and community members reflect this quote. It encourages us all to absolutely do our best in everything we do! Some of our students have learning disabilities that make it difficult for them to learn like other students. Every student in my class learns differently and at their own pace. It is a great blend of intelligences.
