Helping our students to start and run a classroom coffee shop here at JCMS would empower our students in a way that was meaningful and would outlast their time here at JCMS. The cart will allow my students to walk around to each of the staff members in the school, take their orders, and then deliver their coffee to them on designated days. This will allow the students to practice their social skills, communication, working through their shyness, and even learning how to run a simple business by calculating their expenses and profits. We would like to use the profits from our classroom's coffee business to provide funds for the CHEW program. We have a couple of students that use that program and I feel like this would be a great way to see what hard work can do for you and others.
