In our classroom we have several sensory seeking children. We are looking for ways to fill the sensory needs of these children. The light table and manipulative set would be used as a calming center for the children. We are also looking for new and exciting things to put in the sensory table as we are not allowed to have sand in the building we are in. Sensory play is the way to regulate our bodies. We will use the fidget kit when we are doing large group activities and any time we have to wait. To give the children an outlet for their sensory needs.
