Light shines from the fire created under the diligently working spirits of these K-8l music students in Detroit, MI. We are working together in a High Needs school that has rising test scores, flourishing programs in the arts and a shrinking budget which almost doubles our artistic gains. Students are an array of backgrounds and classroom settings including non-english speakers and special education. All students are on a free lunch program. We work together to create music in any way we can and perform in the most traditional and, contrastingly, in the most creative settings.
