Seat sacks will allow the students to have a sense of ownership for their materials in the classroom. We have minimal storage for student belongings and supplies. Providing seat sacks for the students will aid in keeping their materials organized and readily available for use during our learning activities. Offering seat sacks at student chairs will eliminate the need for flow through the classroom to obtain workbooks, pencils, crayons, and folders. The students will simply be able to turn around in their seats, gather the needed materials, and begin working. This is especially helpful for my English Language Learners, as multi-step directions can still be challenging. The list of tasks diminishes significantly as students are able to access all their resources in one area.
