The main resource that I have chosen for my class was a classroom touchscreen laptop. Because I teach Science, my class works hand in hand with the librarian and we work in the garden at our school. While we are working on class activities outside of the class, it would be great if we could keep our data and observations on a student-centered laptop. A laptop that would last the entire school year and then some. A laptop that students can touch and use when focusing on class work. It has become difficult for students to research information about the garden or other topics outside class activities without having the technology to do so. Having this class laptop will allow my students to learn to share, while learning and researching Science information out and in the classroom. This will also build a sense of responsibility for my students because of this technology.
