The materials received will be used to help students tap into their creativity, learn about the world of DIY, and create items that they will be proud to share with others. We will create items that inspire, motivate, and evoke pride in one's identity, school, and community. This includes motivational shadow boxes using paper flowers and wall plaques that promote pride in one's identity. We will use heat transfer vinyl to personalize masks, t-shirts, and other items. This program will not only be fun but it will teach these students a life skill that they can eventually turn into a profitable business if they so choose.
