My students are the perfect age: they are excited about learning, they love school, and they are eager learners, with the greatest potential. They are creative thinkers, hard workers, and deserving of the best education I can possibly give them. Fifth grade is a HUGE year of growth in many social/emotional, and academic ways. In our middle school in rural Michigan, my fifth graders need to be exposed to more culture, worldly experiences, travel (even if it's virtual), and a variety of books, materials, and devices at their fingertips. Because they grow and change so very quickly, they need resources that quickly adapt to their abilities, interests, curriculum, curiosity, and can expand their horizons outside of our little community. We would be so grateful for updated technology and materials that the students can use to become confident leaders.
