My desk, my bed, my couch, my kitchen table, the floor, a bean bag chair, etc.. What do all of these things have in common? They are all places where I have completed work over the years. Allowing my students the opportunity to choose the workspace in which they can be the most successful is vital to their academic growth. Some of the seating options that will be provided by this project are wobble cushions, lap desks, and an exercise ball. All of the seating options funded by this project will give my students the opportunity to work in a flexible environment. In addition to the flexible seating that this project will fund, I have included literature that will promote meaningful conversations among us. A love of reading is essential to a students ongoing success and with flexible seating options and engaging texts, my students will continue to foster a love for reading.
