My students are very creative and COVID removed the hands-on learning opportunities they desperately need to help foster a love of STEAM activities. These different activities will allow for my students to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics concepts during the hands-on learning during centers. In First Grade, we use critical thinking to find new ways to approach problems. These activities, including a jumbo magnetic 120s chart, individual rekenreks, fort building kit, and an engaging LEGO STEM book, will help reinforce concepts taught in our math and science lessons. Exposure to these engaging opportunities allows them to expand their knowledge and will enable all of my current and future students an opportunity to engage with these STEAM tasks.
