Having ukuleles to start a ukulele program will be very fun and exciting for my students. This program fits with the modern band approach that Little Kids Rock stands by. It also fits the curriculum of the N.J.C.C.C.S. Having ukuleles will give an opportunity for students to pick up an instrument to play and learn quickly while having a blast in the classroom. This will really encourage and inspire the students that I serve. This will also give them an opportunity to learn in a very creative, hands-on way that will be sure to carry on to their other subjects that they may have a hard time with.
