My students do not have the luxury of borrowing books from a library in this alternative school setting. My students are on an individualized daily plan. Most of my students struggle in reading but I found out their love for the Bluford Series of books and they are always looking for new titles to read. My school is located in a rural area. Our high school set a record of $7.1 million in scholarships given to the senior class last year. Our students show that they are college and /or career ready .
