The Classic Royal Reading and Writing Center will be used in large and small group instruction to support literacy, math, science, social studies, and other content. The student-level height of the easel allows students to easily participate, and the magnetic whiteboard allows items to be held with magnets during demonstrations. My classroom currently has one small whiteboard in the corner of the room, and this transportable literacy center would allow me to bring the instruction closer to my students for a better viewing and more interactive learning experience when they are working at their desks. Students will also use this center during independent learning rounds to create words with magnet letters, sort with a pocket chart, or practice handwriting.
