Since my school is a charter school and we work with limited funds from the state, I only have two desktop computers in my classroom. This classroom grant will allow students that don't have the technology at home will be able to utilize Chromebooks in the classroom to help with our reading programs, research, and reading games. I will also use the Chromebook during their social studies projects to help research topics to support their reading. We use special reading programs to help improve the students reading skills and with more technology I can reach more students at one time. I appreciate the opportunity to enhance my students.
