These Chromebooks will make a difference in my students' learning, because they will not have to wait for our class to have our turn on Chromebooks. When a teachable moment is happening, it is imperative to have the right tools for learning to take place. You would not send a child to school without a pencil and paper. So why, are we depriving our children of technology that they are going to need in the future? Chromebooks are a way for students to do research, find out answers to their question, type their final product, do networking, find their passion in life and explore the world around them. The possibilities are endless. My students will need these Chromebooks for our Genius Hour. Genius Hour shapes students to find their passion, connect to experts that share their passion and the end result is a stronger, critical thinking, more independent learner.
