Our school is a Title I school comprised of 6th-8th graders in the heart of Georgia. Our students are academically driven and dedicated to the prosperity of the school. My students are from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Some of my students are exposed to string instruments for the first time in my orchestra class. Many have played since elementary school and are focusing on advancing toward a future in music. Undeterred by their differences, all of my students share the same common love for music. They are eager to learn a vast repertoire of music from various genres.
