Today, testing is turning to a more balanced approach, requiring students to demonstrate their understanding using visuals and complete sentences! This transition can be daunting for students, especially those with special needs who may lack efficiency with written communication. My students require a variety of services including specially designed academic instruction, occupational, physical and speech therapies. Despite their disabilities, they are eager to learn. I am eager to facilitate this learning and with your help they can showcase our progress just as their typically developing peers!
