The use of these materials will foster their learning by allowing them to creatively be themselves and create on their own. The use of the dry erase makers will also allow for their writing skills to grow. Not only is writing a part of the classroom structure and routine, the student can write during free-choice and even during individualtime. We will see right before our eyes their writing transform from a scribble to mock letters, then to accurate letters and on to words, sentences, and thoughts. You will be amazed at how fast they can gain important skills like early inventive spelling and sight word recognition with the use of these basic tools.
