My students have developed a passion for the ARTS. They want to express themselves creatively. They love to sing, dance, and act. Most importantly I put on productions in which they learn curriculum. For example, Alex in Mathland a math musical I wrote, Wonders a reading musical I wrote, and SPACE SCHOOL MUSICAL. My students will learn valuable lessons from theatre such as; presentation literacy skills, confidence, improve, teamwork, collaboration, concentration, and dedication. These musical experiences will last a lifetime. However, because we only have a floor and wall space my students are not getting the full theatre production experience. I want them to have microphones, curtains, costumes, and make up. With these items they will be heard and they will know that their passion is valued at our school.
