I have 7th grade math students who are all working at various ability levels who may or may not "like" math when they enter my classroom. Organization is not always strong and for some "forgetting a pencil" seems like a reason to leave class. We have a large district and finances are not easy to come by for many families so it is hard to tell if they truly can't afford the supplies or if they really don't care about being prepared. Either way, all of my students want to achieve success and with your help they will be one step closer.
