My amazing students are at Thurston High School, just outside of Detroit, Michigan. They are fun, witty, charming, silly. They are THE reason I teach. My Media and Digital Literacy classes engage students in learning about creating media in many different forms. This year we spent a month working on a video that focused on their argumentative writing and research skills. This photo was taken right after students "pitched" their video idea to me. We screened their films with a film fest style atmosphere for their classmates to see.
