My 1st grade classroom is in a PK-2 building which is located in a small rural community in Wisconsin. When kids walk into my room, I want them to feel like it is their second home. I am about to start a new year, so I have yet to meet the 18 children that will be in my classroom this year. What I do know is that they are a diverse group of eager learners! Typically, 1st graders love everything about school, so I am excited to make it a great year for them. I am always looking for ways to create the best learning environment I can for the kids who walk through my doorway each year.
