My class currently has 3 desktops, but with 25 students that is not enough. Students need mastery of technology to thrive in the new world. I want to take my students beyond what our school has provided so far. The tablets will be used first and foremost to build our classroom library. The Internet opens thousands of new worlds to students that they need access to. These kindles will be used in my classroom library for when students are finished with their work and given the privilege of extra reading time. In our district we follow the clip model. This means that we do stations each and every day for both math and language arts. This will be used in multiple stations to show students how technology has involved itself in all of the professional world.
